Thamesmead Town Football Club are saddened to announce that after our away match at Beckenham Town on Saturday 22nd September 2007, manager Keith McMahon was subject to an assault in the car park at Beckenham Town Football Club, which resulted in him receiving an injury and being taken to hospital for treatment.

Thamesmead Town Football Club will not tollerate misconduct by or towards players, officials or supporters for any reason what so ever. We do not condone such behaviour and will be following the proper channels to pursue this issue as a disciplinary matter.

In the mean time, Thamesmead Town Football Club support Keith McMahon 100% and wish him a speedy recovery.
