Mead dominated the game from start to finish and should have won the game more comfortably. Speaking about the result manager Keith McMahon said "It was a good performance from the lads today. I was pleased with there response after last weeks FA Vase result. I made a few changes today to freshen things up and it work well. I thought both Sam Groombridge, who was making his first league start of the year and Rikki Cable, who has missed seven games through suspension, did very well.

Our back four looked very solid and going forward we looked a real threat. Sevenoaks made it difficult for us today, they are a much improved side from last season and they didn't stop battling, but we kept a very good shape and waited for the opportunity which Curtis took well." Speaking about the inform striker McMahon said. "He's started the season very well and will score a lot of goals this year he looks very sharp. His work rate is second to none and he lead the line very well with Sam Thomas while Rikki was suspended. Now Rikki is back they will compliment each other really well. We have a very strong squad here and it does give me the opportunity to change things and rest players when they need a break. It was a good three points
