Following the news that planning applications have now been submitted to Bexley Council for the redevelopment of Bayliss Avenue as part of Trust Thamesmead's Sporting Club Thamesmead project we can now reveal pictures of the plans.
Architects, Saville Jones, have designed a multi use leisure facility which will benefit the whole community, with two multi use sports pitches, a synthetic turf pitch, an indoor hall as well as they main grass pitch inside the arena.
The timescale of the project will mean that remedial work will have to take place over the next couple of months to get the ground ready for promotion, should Thamesmead be in a position to gain promotion this season. This will include the building of a six foot fence, similar to VCD Athletic's and the installation of temporary toilets and turnstyles.
