McMahon - "We will spend wisely when new stadium completed"

Thamesmead Manager Keith McMahon says that the club will be on sound financial footing once the new stadium is completed at Bayliss Aveneue next year.

Mead sign ex-Fulham midfielder

Thamesmead Town manager Keith McMahon has today captured the services of 27 year old ex Fulham midfielder, Sam Keevill.

Keevill, who's former clubs also include Kilmarnock, Sutton, Slough, Dartford and Welling United will bolster the sqaud and add quality to the midfield in preparation for next season.

"Signing a player like Sam shows that we are a progressive club," stated McMahon. "With the Stadium development beginning in May, we can attract players of this quality as we look to progress. It's an exciting time for the club and I'm pleased that Sam has signed for us, it's a really good signing for the club."

Mead strip to raise money for Red Nose Day

As support for Ryman League's Red Nose Day appeal, Thamesmead's first team and management stripped to red pants prior to the home match with East Thurrock. Click here to view pictures (if you dare to look!)

There was also free admittance for children and a bucket collection to raise valuable funds for the charity as well as a red ball used for the match.
