Re: tactics and selection

It's a bit early to decide BUT we have looked a bit nervy so far - nowhere near as good as we actually are

Re: tactics and selection

I agree, we have looked a bit nervey and need to keep playing the ball to feet and not giving possession away so easily in the middle. Perhaps just two up front would work better too.

I believe Smudger was injured and therefore not available for selection.

I've got every confidence that Keith and the lads can turn things around quickly. We have the players and I've not been overly impressed with any of the opposition so far.

Oh, and why can't you use your real names? No-ones going to rip your balls off for having an opinion!

Re: tactics and selection

What 2 up front and would you go 4 4 2 or 3 5 2 ?

Re: tactics and selection

I would love to see 5-3-2 with Curtis and Danny Moore on either side acting as old-fashion wing backs, but I think that would leave the defence open too much.

More realistically, I'd rather see 4-4-2, as I think with three up front, it leaves too much of a hole in the middle.

Keyser Sose is one of the E&B management team, watch what you are saying on here people come on to find out if your players are happy,if they think they can get them to leave, they will then make an approach for them.

Re: tactics and selection

Keyser sose is a very odd Authors name, and i have seen it many times on the E&B web site, maybe there are 2, i read quite a few different teams forums i find them interesting and sometimes funny, i dont support Thamesmead or E&B, just dont like under hand tactics being used to find out or unsettle players or teams,if im wrong im sorry, but people should still watch what they say on forums.

One last thing if you bother to read E&B forum today they are again talking about Nick Smith under Players who have left heading posted by Doug,as i said before i know for a fact they are interested in both your Smiths.

Good Luck

Re: tactics and selection

I have seen him to, but don't worry about it, Nick may well be heading back to Erith as I have heard he is going training tonight, but Peter is going now where I'm very happy with him.

Keith, does this mean he is has decided to go back to E&B or is it just one of these 7 day approach things where they are expressing an interest in Nick.
