Re: under 18,s charge on.
Another fine victory on Sunday saw our under 18 north side maintain there relentless pursuit of a unique treble with a 2-1 league victory against Fisher Athletics Acadamy side at Kangley Bridge Road, Beckenham. Playing up the slope first half, Fisher had a number of chances to take the lead but poor finishing and some fine saves from keeper Adam Woodward kept Fisher at bay. With Lee Dawson once again in fine form our lads grew in strenth and took the lead through Emmanual Danzo on 35 minutes. Spurned on by this, just before the break it was 2-0., a superb free kick by skipper Sam O,Keefe found the head of Dawson ,who made no mistake, to give us a 2-0 interval lead. Fisher came out fighting at the start of the second half and soon reduced the arrears with a goal two minutes into the half. It was end to end stuff from then on but Mead held firm to take a vital and valuable three points. The win makes Tuesdays night game at home to leaders Welling United looking like a real cracker. Dont miss that one.................
