Nearly another week gone, and it looks like I might be getting more involved with the Mead, but we will see how that develops. Website was updated last Friday and the major signing of Dean Standen looks like a great move by the Gaffa and also confirmed that a few players from last season have signed up aagain, Sam Mott was brilliant as must be onf the best goalkeepers at this level, so to keep him is a good outsome too. It will be good to see Tozer back, so hopefully his hip is ok and his tan is topped up!!! Only downside at the moment, is that the Gaffa tweeted the other day that Ashley Proberts has done his cruciate, not sure how badly but it cant be good, and I am guessing that means Ashley will miss a while. No doubt the Gaffa is working away on building a squad and with the youngsters we have a blend of exprience and youth could see us doing well.

The forum has been hijacked (only joking) but a couple of Tottenham fans I know at work, well Simply Pieman follows Spurs everywhere but also takes trips to some weird places, his blog is well worth a look. He does like his local beer!!!! We have quite a few football nutters in the office here.

So June is drifting past, no work tomorrow as it is my wife's granddads 90th birthday, a milestone indeed, and we are taking him out to lunch. Next blog to follow in a short space of time.

Just noticed my spelling is getting worse, might need to get a proof reader!!!! Why is it when you have days off work your body clock still wakes you up!!!!

Just a short update from Twitter monitoring, TTFCGaffa tweeted last night that another player is in the bag with hopefully another to follow at the weekend.So squad building is continuing, Tozer also comented on Facbook yesterday about needing to get fit!!!!!!! I am sure for players who love their football this time of year can be frustrating, Also for got to mention on Weekly Blog that Hugo Langton has become the Assistant Manager at Horsham FC, and guess what my wish is now, yes, FA Cup draw against them!!!!!

Another little extra for Blog Number 5, is that it was great to see the website updated again yesterday, and another big signing has been made, and I am quite often stunned and the player's the Gaffa can get his hands on, squad building seems to be coming along with a clear blend of experience and youth looking to be the way forward for the Mead. Also good to see that the management of team and reserves has been firmed up with the appointment of a 1st team coach and reserve team manager. I am beggining to feel we are heading in to a big season for the club, and if we can get a sqaud in place to start well and challenge that would be great, and hopefully the new facilities will help in the furtherment of what we can achieve.
