Well I read with interest the article by Keith which was posted on here before Xmas, and I can appreciate and understand all that he is saying. I was away on Monday when the Mead started 2011 with a 2-0 home defeat to Redbridge, and we do seem to be having problems at Bayliss Avenue where as away from home we have been solid and gained points. I see that a new goalkeeping coach has been recruited along with a defender and striker which further boosts the squad. I was sad to see that Lewis Tozer will miss the rest of the season, he will be missed but I knoew about his problems from talking to him on Facebook, where I have quite a few players and the Gaffer as friends and that is good. Unforutnately I was not well in the middle of this week, as I seem to have contracted a bug, but have made it to work today and have been playing catch-up.

I have missed seeing any football recently and look forward to getting back along to Bayliss Avenue, hopefully next Tuesday when we have a London Senior Cup game and then the following Saturday a big home game against Needham Market. Before that the Mead have a tough away game at Brentwood tomorrow, if the rain does not cause problems, and I hope they get a positive result there.
