Maybe training for all I know, or maybe the Gaffer had made plans to go and watch some players which he probably does not get the chance to do very often. As I said in a previous post, maybe losing in the FA Cup was not a disaster as the team get's a break after a hectic start to the season, which they have turned round well with 3 wins in a row, and hopefully they can kick-on again when they next take to the field next Satiurday, if I recall correctly, Romford turned us over at Bayliss Avenue last season, so there is revenge to be had.
As for me, tomorrow I am off to see Charlton v Notts County, my wife, daughter and I agreed we would try and go and see one home Charlton game a month, so this is the September visit, as the Mead are at home the next two Saturday's and I want to be there. Also, tomorrow, my first love, Hamilton are at home to Ranger's, so hopefully I can watch that too, as Mrs M is at work for a few hours before we meet her for the footie.
So, to the staff and player's, hope you have a relaxing weekend and look forward to next week whizzing by and getting to see the Mead again on the 18th.
Cheers :-)
