Well it is early Friday morning, my sleeping pattern is still not great, but I just wanted to wish the Mead all the best for Saturday, when they take on Ware at Bayliss Avenue and hopefully after the first win of the season on Monday, the boys will feel some confidence and can get the three points to start getting a winning streak together. Maybe in a way, getting knocked out the the FA Cup will be a blessing, not from a financial point of view I know, but it means that the Mead can concentrate on the league and hopefully we can do better in other cup competitions.
I collected my kilt yesterday and this afternoon we are heading down to Canvey Island where we are staying in the Oysterfleet Hotel tonight before my wife's cousins wedding which is in Rettendon Parish Church at 12pm tomorrow. So I will miss the game which is getting frustrating, but life is like that sometimes. Back to work next week after my summer break, and we had a good trip to Scotland, but did not get the chance to see Hamilton Need to see if I can plan a trip up for a weekend to see them play this season.
Up the Mead :-) Cheers.
