Well pre-season is progressing with mixed results for the Mead so far, and another game to come later today as it is 0050am now!!!! I made it along on Tuesday evening when the Mead were outplayed by a very fast flowing Dulwich Hamlet. Three goals all came from the same source, their right winger who suppled three dangerous crosses for conversion. The Mead did look much better in the 2nd half, but only had one goal for their efforts, created by one twin and scored by the other, just don't ask me if it was Raph or Gabs who provided the cool finish after a great run from the other. Some players were making their first appearances, and skipper Tozer looked to be feeling his muscles, he is such a poser!!!!! It was good to talk briefly to Keith and some other of the backroom staff, and hopefully Lea Dawson grion operation will be a success, but he will be out for a while, and Marcus Perona got a nasty kick on tuesday. I see another defeat was had last night (well Thursday) and goals seem to be hard to come by at the moment. Hopefully as pre-season continues Keith will get an idea of his strongest team and that the football will start to flow and goals will come along. Another good test later against Maidstone, and if I can get some sleep, I hope to make it along.
Cheers for now :-)
