Well the World Cup is down to the last four now, after some surpirisng results in the Quarter Finals. Brazil were ousted by Holland, then Uruguay got the better of Ghana although there has been some controversy about the end of the game. Should a hand ball like that be punished with the award of a goal not a penalty? Then Germany crushed Argentina, so England can feel a little better, and Spain got the better of Paraguay. It will be interesting to see which way the semi-finals go and who will be left to battle it out for the World Cup next Sunday, and it could be a first European win outside of the area. Football hardly seems to stop these days and in July we have Champions League qualiflies and Europa League ties as well. Pre-season is also beginning for alot of teams, Charlton started back today and did my Scottish team Hamilton, and I think the Mead start back this week to and will be building towards their first friendly which is a week on Saturday. The building work at Bayliss Avenue seems to be going along week and we have had a great spell of weather, too warm for me I have to say. My work at the moment is all about saving money for a large government department and we face big cuts. Oh what fun. Till the next time, cheers :-)
