I know its late but Ive been in pain this week as my ankle was still hurting me from the Concord game, Leyton and Enfield.
Playing threw pain over the last few games hasn't been easy but I will do what it takes to help my boys keep trying to keep all our dreams alive.
Today was a day where we needed to take revenge on what Enfield did to us early in November beating us 3 nil at home.
With MUSKATEER JC out with a cut and Rob coming at the back, with a new signing making his debut Tommy Osbourne strength wernt a problem.
To cut to the chase
Enfield Town was a dissapointing result for all of us as playing the teams around us is a must to nick all the points or get a draw at least.
I will never knock any of my players efforts to try and win games and give their best because I do believe we all want to win.
Going into this game was a must win and take the game to Enfield to show them were in this fight.
We did start off well, closing down balls, creating chances being creative but it felt like one of those days were who scored first would march on.
After we had chances missed they took theres just before half time and that really hurt 1nil down at the break.
Going in at half time and trying to keep that momentum going is hard but these are the games people that we have to more than rise to the occassion and like the gaffer stressed at the leyton game we can't carry any players now till the end of the season.
Everyone's got to give there all to show that extra desire to be in the squad and I believe we have the character to pull threw.
Coming into the second half being against the wind was hard but we had to deal with it. Although we was 1 behind we still could come back and actually win this game but concentration was key.
Although we came out fighting to do our best we still got undone by them scoring another goal but I still believed that we could get into the game as we were creating chances.
Lee Barnet had his shooting boots on for us really and he could have scored an hat-trick but to show how much these games mean to everyone, every individual has to be switched on when called upon and the keeper was.
He stopped everything and he had that determination that we aint scoring today and I believe thats what my team need to believe that we are going to win no matter what and give everything.
As for the ref he wasnt excepted credit in any bank.
As a MUSKATEER and speaking for the others when we concede goals its the most worst feeling but we do give our best to help out norfy because we want to restore the gold but we also want the points as if you don't concede its more likely for any one to win more games.
I trust my boss when he picks any team because we are all good enough to do the job when required. I just think we all need to trust eachother as individuals and really concentrate from now till the end because the dream is alive it really is.
Some say that I'm really busy for leaving these comments.
Its just my way of expressing my feelings whether good or bad.
Well for those that think I'm busy so what. I don't really care because BUSY is maybe what we all need to be on and off the park to make sure that we smash and grab these vital games ahead.
Keep encouraging the person beside you that (...ks) up because we all made and make mistakes. I can say that against enfield wernt 1 of my better games but how many good games have I had.
It don't mean shit all now and that goes to everyone.
I love you all and I will die for the cause to get into the play-offs and get promoted with you guys because your all great friends and we do have a laugh, banters brilliant.
I'm just saying that putting that all aside we need to start being aggressive, ignorant and showing the confidence that we all have on the pitch from now to the end of the season because to be honest boys and girls if we don't get into the play-offs I will probably break down and cry because I know that I'm in a good place and I don't see why we can't now march on and do this.
No one can say that we didn't give our all but if we don't roll our selves up soon this will all be a waste and no one wants that.
If you are a Thamesmead player and you read this have a look at yourself and your game on saturday and asked yourself if you gave everything.
When saturday comes prove it to the club you play for, the people you care about and most importantly yourself because we need everyone at their best now dying for the cause because
The Dream Continues.............and games are running low and this is the best season for many of us, so let prove it now and march on with more belief
with the desire to win win win.
The Dream Continues............................
Rrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.................
