VOICELESS...
At the moment I can say that the team is in a great position in the league.
For me to be involved in a performance that shouldn't have been lived or witness from a mead perspective no words of comfort shouldn't be allowed.
First half was shocking, awful and every individual could say that they didn't give what they were capable of giving.
Can't make excuses for that result as over the last couple of weeks our start as been really poor where we have been lucky to come in at the break evens, 1 up or 1 down.
To be 4 nil down at half time to any team speaks volumes, but for a team to come to our place and show more desire on our patch was a disgrace.
It was like is this really happening, everyone looking around wondering whats going on heads down.
Defensively as a team we were poor and I apologise for my poor performance as there was much more that I think I could have done.
With the job that I have, encouragement, confidence is the key factor and self belief and we lost alot of that on saturday.
In life when bad things are happening, no matter how difficult things are encouragement, confidence and self belief can get you threw.
Believing that change can happen and the point im trying to make is although we were losing badly the possibilities of getting back into the game was still there.
Half time VOICELESS... Body language said it all.
Nothing to lose in the second half but to regain some pride was a must.
Started well tried to take the game to Maldon and we got a goal back. Belief was there but self esteem was still low but we created enough chances to actually win the game or draw.
All momentum was gone once chances were missing, decisions not going our way and time was running out.
Credit to Maldon they took the game to us and we didn't respond and they scored again to plant the killer blow.
That summed up our performance, behind all the way. It was a horrible and embarrassing weekend to swallow as 5 goals conceded at home does look like a hammering, felt much worst being in it with no were to hide.
I do believe that we have more than enough in my team were encouragemant, confidence and self belief is there to march on and as devestated I am and the team, the gaffer and all those involved with the club, these are the times now were all of the positive energy is needed to restore hopes of making a great season more than successful.
The Dream does continue everyone lets now
START TO BELIEVE IT DOES PUTTING OUR BODIES ON THE LINE EACH AND EVERYONE OF US THEN WE CAN SAY WE GAVE IT A REAL GO AND WE GET TO SHOW THAT DESIRE AND PASSION THAT WE WANT THIS AT LEYON ON TUESDAY IF THE WEATHER HOLDS UP
because performing like that at any level all should know wern't good enough by far.
