At first i thought I would not make it today, but I got to Bayliss Avenue just after kick off to see the game. The pitch was heavy and I felt this did not help the Mead's normal passing game, although the first half had only a few chances which mainly fell to AC but he did not have his shooting boots on today, not that anyone can complain after his effots so fat this season. In the second half again it seemed the goal would not come and this supporter along with the Mead's management were getting fristrated with both the linesman and the referee at times. The three musketeers, as it seems they like to be know were very solid as always and the midfiled battled hard to get a grip on the game. I thought Rikki might have been suspended, but he got the crucial goal with a twisting run and assured finish. It proved to be the difference, with both teams also hitting the woodwork at times. Another deserved three points which keeps the Mead in 2nd place and with another big home game coming up on Tuesday.
