wats happened???? didnt watch the game sat but noticed williams and mulholland on the bench?? looking at the result were they being rested otherwise get them playing?curtis is quick and causes defences problems and scot is our creative player?? just hope we sort it out for saturday?? come on mead

Lucky you missed last saturday but for me we have not been playing to our early season form for 5 games now. Against G Borough was poor, and since, we have run up against teams with plenty of pace up front that causes us problems. Conceeding own goals and bad defensive errors shows what pressure, (some would say our most experienced players,) they are facing and not coping with. For me Sevenoaks are a well organised side who hit you on the break, just like previous seasons. The goal keeper and one of their back four can hit 70 yd balls, fairly accurately, and seeing we had noone putting them under pressure they had time to make these long balls count. They constantly kept us under pressure with this simple tactic of kicking beyond our back 3/4 and chasing the ball. In those conditions it was perfect, we built up slower trying to make passes that in the conditions had to be good or the attack just collapsed. Rikki was perhaps the only one who played the pitch well, but we found it hard to get the ball to him. Sevenoaks always give you plenty of free kicks but on the day our set pieces were woefull, and most of the time resulted in a charge out of defense by Sevenoaks with us struggeling to cover. On that performence we would have struggled against Bengal, it will have to be a lot better to face Hythe, which now really becomes a must win game, on points dropped so far, i expect to see some changes to the team.

had other plans on saturday so yer i wasent there but been to near enough every other game so if that makes me an expert? lookin at the other reply looks like i wasent far wrong ??
