Thamesmead Town U18Central

Thamesmead Town has got a brilliant bunch of players in the Under 18 Central team. Most recognised by me are,

Tony Hill - A skilled player who can play on the right or left of midfield. Makes a good utility midfielder.

Justin Range - A talented striker who can get a lot of goals for the team.

Liam Carter - A young midfielder playing a year above his age group. Good on the ball and works hard.

Ryan Green - A big, pacy attacking midfielder who can join up in attack as a support striker. Impressed in pre season trials.

Daniel Parish - Very talented player who plays up front and is a goal poacher.

Along with a host of other talented players who caught the eye of the U18 manager during trials in preseason.

After a shakey start to the season, Thamesmead Town U18C have now racked up 3 wins in a row in all competitions and are set to start the climb to the summit of the table.

This team is full of Potential!!!

Re: Thamesmead Town U18Central

Yes there are some potentially good players in the U18C - but you have to realise that most of the players are new to the team.

At the start of pre season training there were only 5 of the old 2006-2007 squad left. Paul Carter (who only took over during 2006-2007 to keep the team together due to the manager leaving) , had to motivate and teach a lot of players what was needed to create a team and he has done SO well. Things are starting to go well for Paul and the team, but he can only work with the players that he has got and some are not up to Kent standard, but if they are happy training, learning and being part of the squad, then fair play to them.

Also Stan who has worked hard along with Paul. Maybe this season is about experience and not league positions

- it will be next season that will show the men from the boys

Keep up the good work Paul, and maybe soon all your hard work will be recognised. How about putting the details of the Cup tie tomorrow night on the main site and get some TT fans to come along and support the boys ???
