But all I will say now is this, referee's can make or destroy games, tonight the latter happened. All I would ask the Mead players to do, is forget about it, we all say what happened, and move on, when I am more rational I will write some more!!!!

Just read the match report and you were very diplomatic!!!!!! I have seen a few matches at this level now and the standard of refereeing seems to be getting worse. I was a referee myself years ago in Scotland, and I do have some sympathy for them, but some of the decisions on Tueaday night were beyond belief. How the Leatherhead Number 9 stayed on the pitch is beyond me, he was late and went through Tozer I think. Clear yellow and then a red, but the referee bottled it. He did not do that shortly after when from where I was standing Junior went shoulder to shoulder with their forward and got the wrong end of the stick. Sometimes you see them given, other's not. Now is not the time for counselling, but at times you just need to accept that you have a referee that is so inconsistent you really could scream. I head the Gaffer shouting, and ok he did tell me he swore, but all he was asking was what was the difference? The linesman on that side seemed quite keen to get involved too. In the end the two booking for AC was just rubbing salt in the wound. The team battled well and can be proud of that, but please walk away at times, frustrating though it may be. Injustice can always be repaired at some time!!!!!!
