Yesterday I did not get the chance to come along, as was up in London for the afternoon on a tour of the Houese of Parliament. Great result for Thamesmead yesterday, finally got to find out the score on the Ryman site last night, 4-0 was a resounding win against a team who had been on a decent run. Looks like the goals are being shared around as well, which is always a good sign for a team. Getting Rikki Cable back was a great signing for Keith McMahon and Rikki gives Thamesmead that ability to pull a rabbitt from the hat. Joint top of the league at the moment and I hope the team can go next week a and make some progress in the FA Trophy. Hopefully I will get back to Bayliss Avenue soon. :-)

Colin thanks for all your support. Yesterday was most probablt the best performance i have seen from one of my Thamesmead sides overall. Leyton put us under great pressure for the first 20 minutes but we performed brilliantly and the second half performance was outstanding. Leyton was the best side we have played so far, so that should tell you how well we played over 90 minutes. We are getting a coach next week if you would like to come, There will be a free ticket on the gate on me if you want to cheer the Mead on

Keith, that is a very nice offer, but I have been in Manchester two days this week with my work, and off on a long day trip to Liverpool tomorrow. On Saturday I have some other things to attend too, but wish the Mead all the best in the FA Trophy game, again a chance to grab some much needed revenue for the club, to reach the 1st round proper would be a great effort.
