Im back folks just like to say that the atomosphere around the club is great, the response i got yesterday at home was nice good to be back and hopefully as a team we can challenge the league and go on a good cup run good to back.

Great to see you back Junior, very impressed with the teams performance against Tonbridge Angels. Looks like te ground is going to be great. Pitch was awesome. Heres to a great season

I am new to to the site but I have seen a couple of matches so far and I think we play good attacking football from the back to he fronta nd today e definitiley looked the higher league team. What do other people think of the team from last year?

There seems to be a great team spirit this season. Great keeper, back 4 look solid, midfield is superb, AC looks on fire up front, perhaps just need an out & out goal scorer to complete the side, Have not seen enough of Caleb to have an opinion but have been impressed with Gab so far. With a bit of luck with injuries etc I think we could be in for a good season.

Remember Tommy may not be about much but he still loves ya all!!!!!!!

Yes, great to have you back Junior. Have to say that from what I have seen so far, this is the most promising pre-season I have seen in my four years of watching The Mead.

Some excellent signings (glad to see AC and Counstable in particular and Northy) and solid defending with some exciting, quick passing football. It helps that there's no one lazing around up front, everyone's working for each other.

Just like to say that yesterdays win over potters bar was a real test of character. Personally as a defender I hate conceding goals it stresses me right out and as the game was coming to the end and the ref was being difficult. I couldnt see us scoring then out of no where raf aka twin pulls out a wonder volley and that was a relief for me having so much possession of the ball to have come out vitorious. I just hope that we can continue the hard work kill off teams without giving them hope of getting back in the game. Come boys

I came along to the Cup Game today, and it was good to see the Mead make progress, I enjoy coming along and hope the club can go from strength to strength, it is certainly something to see the changes taking place. A good cup run would bring so much needed financial help too, but Keith M has built a solid looking sqaud, and I am always impressed by his desire to play football. Best of luck to all at the club for the rest of the seaon :-)
