LOL! Good to see you lads have got a sense of humour. Looking forward to your visit - we've made plenty of room for the tractors. Hope you have a good seson in the Ryman (apart from the first game!)
Why would we have tractors? we are the TRAWLERBOYS unlike our suffolk companions Ispwich who are the TractorBoys.
We're only 200 yards from the Thames, plenty of space to moor up. :)
that will do us fine then wont it.
Seriously, Tom, how many do you recon you'll be bringing down?
i recon in the ridgeons we took a average of give or take a few 150 to most away games and i can see us keeping it up through out the rymans
It looks as if you'll be one of the best supported sides in the Ryman South. It'll be good to have the number through the turnstyles.I'll try and meet you in the bar after the game if you're staying for a drink or two.
yea should be mate what was your average home gate last season then
About 80.
:O that would be por for the ridgeons we got a average home game off 500 ish
It's tough getting the crowds in London with so many other teams around and many other things for people to do. You'll find that you'll have by far the highest attendance in the Ryman North, the average gate for the league is only about 120 odd.
That'll be two of us so far
A friendly welcome from Thamesmead, and a good game of football I'm pleased to report. The ball was played on the ground by both teams, and the match started at a fast pace. Things settled down to a more realistic speed for a hot day, with the two teams testing each other out while evidently still getting to know the new players in their sides. The Lowestoft keeper had some work to do to defend the goal as it wasn't a one-sided match.
I handed out 47 Travelling Supporters tickets, and I'm pretty sure that's the true number of Lowestoft supporters there.
Our first taste of the M25 on a Saturday saw it live up to its reputation on the way down: I must have "filtered" through at least 5 miles of queuing traffic on the approach to the Dartford crossing. If I hadn't chosen to go by motorbike I would have missed most of the first half: I left Halesworth at a little after 12 noon, and pulled up in the car park as the first people were getting off the coach at 2:10 (ish). Some others weren't so lucky.
