Keith McMahon has today announced that he has signed left back,Junior Baker. "He's a big sigining for us, who brings experience of playing at a higher level and scores goals from the back," said McMahon. Junior began the season at Cray Wanderers and signed for Dulwich Hamlet in December 2007 and will travel with the squad to Faversham tomorrow.
Meanwhile, remedial work continues to Bayliss Avenue with the erection of the perimeter fence.

"Bingi" Grant pulled a goal back for Thamesmead on 75 minutes on Saturday to earn Mead a point at Erith Town. The point means that Mead remain fourth in the table, but with games in hand on Beckenham and Hythe who are above. Read more...

After an uneventful and goal less 30 minutes at Bayliss Avenue, heavy mist rolling in from the Thames caused the match to be abandoned. Bexley Council last night granted planning permission for the £4M redevelopment of Thamesmead's home ground, Bayliss Avenue.
Construction is due to begin in September 2008 with the new stadium and facilities complete for the start of the 2009/10 season. Read full report and reaction here...

Thamesmead closed the gap on Premier Division leaders VCD with a 2-1 win at Oakwood.
