Double Quarter Final joy
Inside the space of 48 hours Keith McMahon has led Mead to the Quarter Finals of both the London Senior Cup and Kent Senior Cup. On Tuesday night Mead cruised to a 4-1 win over Welling Utd in the London Cup. A 3 goal blitz in the space of 8 second half minutes did the damage. Andy Constable led the way with a brace aidly assisted by Marcos Perona and debutant Stuart KIng.

King was again on target in Mead's 2-0 win at Faversham in the Kent Senior Cup on Thursday. The former Herne Bay man found the net 7 minutes into the second half after Scot Mulholland (left) had opened the scoring on 24 minutes. Mead will now meet Hendon and Ramsgate in the last 8 of the respective compeitions.

Goal 'KING' signs for The Mead
Following the departure of striker Sol Patterson Bohner to Leatherhead, Keith McMahon has pulled off an even bigger replacement in the shape of Stuart King from Kent League side Herne Bay. Stuart has found the net 17 times for The Bay this season and is currently the Kent League's top goalscorer. Speaking exclusively to the website tonight, Keith commented 'Stuart is a great signing for the club, I have been a big fan of his for ages. He is a proven goal scorer and a match winner

Second half collapse
Potters Bar Town 4-1 Thamesmead Town
Andy Constable took his goal tally for the season into double figures but it all went wrong after the break. A.C. fired Mead into a 34th minute and held it until the hour mark, when Jose Espinoza equalised. McMahon delves into transfer market
Mead Boss Keith McMahon has moved to strenghten the squad by bringing in Kery Kazade and Jake Burnham. Keith commented 'Kery is 17 year old forward. That has played for Hampton & Richmond and Walton & Hersham this year. He was in the competition to win a contract at Swindon this year and got through to the Final, where he got a 3 week trial at Brighton. Very quick and skilful. Jake Burnham is 18 and is the son of Dartford Manager Tony Burnham. He is a holding midfielder and has been on the bench for Dartford this season. Both are young and will bring enthusiasm to the squad'. Kery made his debut in the recent game with Harlow Town while Jakes first game was at Great Wakering Rovers last Wednesday.

Double semi final delight for Reserves & Under 18s
The Under 18s and Reserves are through to the semi finals of their resepective League Cup compeitions. In the Kent Youth League Cup Mead enjoyed a thrilling 8-4 win at Erith Town. The Mead ran out winners after extra time after the tie at finished 3-3 at the end of 90 minutes. They will now play Welling or Dartford in the last 4. Meanwhile Brian Lee's Reserve side are through to the semi finals of the Kent League Cup following a resounding 6-2 extra time victory over Deal Town last week. The scores had finsihed 2-2 at the end of normal time. Mead's reward is a trip to Cray Wanderers in the semi finals.

A.C. secures first win of 2011
Thamesmead Town 1-0 Waltham Forest
With the final 10 minutes of this game remaining, Mead's winless run in the league looked set to continue, but striker Andy Constable had other ideas when he hit the winning goal. It was The Mead's first league win since November.

McMahon's 2011 nightmare continues
Great Wakering Rovers 2-0 Thamesmead Town
Keith McMahon's 2011 nightmare continues following this latest setback in Southend on Tuesday night. Two goals either side of the interval saw Mead's league run without a win extended to 7 games. Mead's leading marksman Gabs Momoduo and Callum McGeehan (pictured) came closest to scoring.

Briggs goal not enough
Thamesmead Town 1-2 Harlow Town
Ryan Briggs first goal of the season failed to prevent Mead from crashing to defeat at Bayliss Avenue tonight. The former West Ham Youth player found the net on 44 minutes. However goals either side of the interval from Lee Roache (31) and Leon Antoine (48). The defeat exends Mead's league run without a win to 7 games.
