Thamesmead Town 1 Beckenham Town 0
A late goal from Pedro Knight saw off top of the table rivals Beckenham Town in a 1-0 victory. As VCD win today they top the table with Mead in second, four points behind and a game in hand.

Keith McMahon has today signed pacy forward Harbingi Grant from Greenwich Borough. Grant scored the first goal in Borough's 2-0 F.A. Vase victory against us last month. Meanwhile, remedial work continues to get the ground up to promotional standards with the completion of a large covered stand behind the "far end" goal. A fence enclosing the main pitch will be complete before Christmas.

Thamesmead Town 2 Sevenoaks Town 4
Thamesmead put in a poor performance in the relentless rain today as they lost at home to Sevenoaks. Going 2-0 down in the first half, Rikki Cable gave Mead hope with his goal on 55 minutes. However Sevenoaks made it 4-1 later in the half before Curtis williams scored a cosolation goal in injury time. Read more...

With both teams through to the next round, it gave Keith McMahon the opportunity to try out Mead's youngsters in the League Cup against Erith & Belvedere at Park View Road.

Deal Town 5 Thamesmead Town 5
Thamesmead dropped a 3-0 lead to gain just a point in a 10 goal thriller at Deal Town. Rikki Cable secured a hatrick within 25 minutes as the Mead looked to be cruising. However Deal fought back to 3-2 by half time and then went on to go 4-3 up on 58 minutes. Richard Dimmock equallised on 82 minutes only for deal to take the lead 5 minutes later. However Rikki cables forth goal of the day ensured that the teams shared 10 goals and a point each. Beckenham go three points ahead of Thamesmead at the top of the Kent League table, with their 3-1 win at home to Greenwich Borough, but Mead have four games in hand. Read full report here....
