Management Team Completed
Thamesmead Town are pleased to announce that the 2 roles of 1st Team Coach and Reserve Team Manager have now been filled. Paul McDonagh joins the Mead as 1st Team Coach and Rob Dillon joins as Reserves Team Manager. Thamesmead boss Keith McMahon said "They are both good additions to the club. Paul will add a lot with the first team, he is a very good coach and will fit in with the squad very well. He has experience with seniors having managed Bearsted. Rob is going to be another good addition for us. He managed Sevenoaks Town reserves last year, so he knows all about reserve team football. Which we need as we are entering the Surburban League this season."

Sam scoops hat-trick of awards
It was a night to remember for Mead Goalkeeper Sam Mott at the club's recent presentation evening. Sam was named Players Player, Suppoters Player and Manager's Player of the Year. Meanwhile Callum MacGeehan picked up the Most Improved Player Award while Chairman Mark Lee won the much coveted Alan Martin Award. Finally the Golden Boot Award went to Gabriel Momodu who narrowly edged out last season's winner Andy Constable by a solitary goal.

Thamesmead ended the season on a bright note with an emphatic away win at Romford. The three goal victory came courtacy of strikes from both of the Momodu twins and Callum MacGeehan.

AC ruled out with broken ankle
It has been confirmed that Mead's top scorer Andy Constable will miss the remainder of the season with a broken ankle sustained in the recent league match at Cheshunt.

Gaffa Makes Big 1st Summer Signing
Thamesead Town are pleased to announce that they have signed ex Luton midfielder Dean Standen. Standen how played for Luton in the Football League will add a lot of quality to the squad said Mead Boss Keith McMahon. "It's a massive signing for the club, most probably the biggest in the clubs history. Dean's experience at playing at a higher level will be invaluable to us. He is only 29 and still has a lot to offer. He is really positive about next season with us. He is someone that we can build a team around and he will help the youngsters out we already have." The Mead Boss also said that there will be a few more additions in the next couple of weeks, but he was also pleased to announce the goal keeper Sam Mott has committed himself to the club next season, along with Ashley Probets, Lea Dawson and Lewis Tozer.

Under 16 Manager Vacancy
Thamesmead Town F.C. require a Manager for the Under 16 side for the 2011/12 season. Additional players are also required for the Under 16s and the Under 18s. Mead Reserves narrowly missed out on making the Kent League Cup Final after suffering a narrow 2-1 defeat to Cray Wanderers in Saturday's second leg. Cray win the tie 3-2 on aggregate.
