Academy and Youth Team Headlines

Latest News (Saturday 6th August 2011)

We had a very constructive meeting between myself, the Press Officer and Website adminstrator and the Youth Team managers on Monday evening, and as a result of this I have now done some work on this area of the website, by holding your cursor over the Academy tab on the left you will now see pages have been created for each of the Mead's Youth Teams and we will be using these pages to publish information, match reports and the next step is to add a fixture tab to each team.

The Youth Teams that Thamesmead currently have play in the Kent Youth League, Ryman Youth League and the Bexley Youth League with most games being played on Sunday mornings. Links to the league websites will be added soon.

Fixtures added for both the U18 and U14 teams over the coming month, home games will be played at Bayliss Avenue either on the main pitch or the Crossways pitch. Home games are generally an 11am kick off.

Thamesmead's Under 12 side are looking for player's that are Kent League standard.

Monday 30th January 2012 -

Under 18's Ryman and Kent League information updated, and also Under 14's tab updated with latest league table, results and fixtures. Latest Under 14 report added on their tab to from Jake Cella, an impressive come from behind win.

Tuesday 31st January 2012 - Under 12's, 13's and 16's pages updated with latest tables, results and fixtures, and the Under 16's have a title decider at Bayliss Avenue this Sunday at 2pm, so support could be vital for the Mead and much appreciated.
